10% adhoc pay increase notified





ISLAMABAD: The government issued on Tuesday a notification regarding the grant of 10 percent Adhoc Relief Allowance 2014 of basic pay of its civilian employees. “The president was pleased to sanction the grant with effect from July, 1, 2014. Until further orders, Adhoc Relief Allowance 2014 at 10 percent of the basic pay to all the civil employees of the federal government as well as the civilians paid from defence. Estimates including contingent paid staff and contract employees employed against civil posts in basic pay scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment,” said the notification. According to the notification the amount of Adhoc Relief Allowance will be subject to income tax and will be admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR except during extra-ordinary leave. It also announced 20 percent increase in medical allowance of employees in BPS-1 to BPS-15.
