KARACHI: Founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has called Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Nazim-e-Ala Dr Raheeq Abbasi and expressed his deep concern over the siege of Dr Tahirul Qadri’s home and PAT Secretariat.
MQM Chief showed his concern over media reports the PAT chief’s house was besieged and no one, including media persons was not allowed to enter into the house. He said the reports also revealed PAT workers were arrested in various parts of the Punjab.
He said the siege, raids and arrests could not resolve the issues of the country. He emphasised the government to stop using power against innocent people and politically victimising them.
