LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif left for Beijing on Sunday on a visit to China.
Talking at airport before his departure for China, the chief minister said that Pakistan and China were bound together in strong ties of love and friendship. He said that the rapid progress made by China was a role model for other countries.
He said that China was extending full cooperation to Pakistan in energy, infrastructure and other sectors. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pak-China friendship has been transformed into mutually beneficial economic relations between the two countries, he said.
He said that his visit to China will further promote trade and economic ties while ongoing cooperation in energy, infrastructure and other sectors will also be enhanced.
