Javed Mir calls Pak high commission in Delhi

NEW DELHI – APHC leader, Javed Ahmad Mir visited the Pakistan High commission at New Delhi and discussed with him the present human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.

According to Media Service, Javed Ahmad Mir according to a statement issued by his office, on the occasion welcomed the proposed dialogue process between Pak-India Foreign secretaries, scheduled to be held on August 22 in Islamabad.

He called for inclusion of the Kashmiri leadership to make the process result-oriented and meaningful. Javaid Ahmad Mir expressed hope that ahead of the proposed meeting, India would release all political detainees; stop day-to-day human rights violations and unlawful arrests to make the process a success.
