RAWALPINDI – Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah has said that the Pakistan People’s Party has no agenda of derailing democracy in current political situation in Pakistan.
Talking to journalists here, Shah said that arrest of Altaf Hussain was as critical to the PPP leadership as it was for the Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers. He said that former president Asif Ali Zardari has already revealed PPP’s position over MQM chief’s arrest by demanding complete justice for Altaf Hussain.
Separately, former Interior Affairs minister Rehman Malik said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N government has failed to provide relief to the nation in the budget. And he accused the government for increasing prices of steel for the benefit of Itefaq foundation.
