Political temperature decreasing: ex-minister

ISLAMABAD – Former minister for Interior Affairs and Pakistan People's Party leader Senator Rehman Malik said on Friday that the group that wants to derail the democracy has been broken.

Talking to journalists here, Rehman said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri won't go together for a long time.

"I think the political temperature is decreasing and things will soon be normal," he said. He hoped that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will resolve the issues in a better way.
