ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday denied rumours of ending his sit-in, saying that all such news was lies.
Talking to the participants of his sit-in, the PAT chief said that he would neither cave in to tyranny and oppression nor would he compromise. He said that he would continue to stage sit-in till the resignations of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
“Imran on Tuesday asked me to promise him that I would continue to stage sit-in with him till the resignation of Sharif brothers. Yes, I will continue my sit-in,” he said. He asked his humble workers to return home, saying that I could not see them in trouble.
