Deadlock ends between govt, two parties: PPP

Rehman appreciated JI chief’s positive role to end crisis

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former interior minister Rehman Malik claimed on Wednesday that the current political deadlock had ended between the government and two protesting parties.

“The nation will hear good news”, he said. He said that the current crisis could only be resolved through talks. Rehman appreciated the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq's positive role to end the crisis.
