ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will pay a one-day visit to Karachi on Tuesday to overview law and order situation of the largest city and financial engine of the country.
According to details, the prime minister will chair a high-level meeting on June 3 over the deteriorating law and order situation of Karachi while Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI and crops commander Karachi will also attend the meeting. Along with the army chief, the meeting will also be attended by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah. Director General Rangers, Chief Secretary and IG Sindh will brief the prime minister over law and order situation and the current status of ongoing targeted operation. Sources further said that the PM would also meet with PML-N local leadership.
