Measles vaccine claims two more lives

CHARSADDA: Two more children died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Charsadda District on Sunday after they were administered anti-measles vaccination. The number of such child deaths in Charsadda has mounted to four in a week. Reports said the condition of two four-year-old boys, Sohail and Faizan, destabilised on Saturday when they were administered anti-measles injection in Majoki and Amirabad areas of Charsadda. The kids were admitted to a local hospital, but could not survive. Medics said the children were administrated substandard injections.
