Sir: In a society like ours where the rulers have almost turned their backs on the masses, the only field that the people consider as a lifeline for their battered lives in poverty is education. Unfortunately, this noble profession has been occupied by opportunists in government-run schools and colleges. In order to extract money out of this profession, a booming culture of academies has been started as a complementary part, which has almost made education for the poor impossible to attain. There is a dire need to purge the noble profession of opportunists in general. It is appealed to the concerned authorities to take notice of opportunism taking place in the education sector.
