Sir: Thousands of vehicles ply Sharae Faisal every day in the morning and evening during rush hour. There are two bottlenecks, Rashid Minhas Road crossing and Shah Faisal Colony crossing before Natha Khan bridge. Owing to these two locations Sharae Faisal cannot be called signal-free. Both locations cause wastage of precious time, fuel, and result in frustration. One solution could be to block these crossings and construct a road below Natha Khan bridge for vehicles coming from Rashid Minhas and wanting to go towards Saddar and also for vehicles coming from Saddar and trying to turn right towards Shah Faisal Colony.Ample space is already available which was created for Karachi Circular Railway. By doping this it will not only streamline traffic going towards the airport but would also provide an uninterrupted flow of traffic in the opposite direction. This can be done at a nominal cost and in less than a month’s time.Nayyar Iqbal RazaKarachi
