Sir: Equality, in advance societies, being the fundamental right of the people, is followed in letter and spirit. Any prejudice against colour, creed, race or religion is considered violation of human rights. In Pakistan, unfortunately, people target and kill minorities in the name of religion. No one is safe in Pakistan today be it Ahmedi, Beralvi, Shia , Christians or Hindus. Quaid-e-Azam never wanted an intolerant Pakistan. When we attack minorities, we trivialize the purpose of building Pakistan. Pakistan was created because the Hindus were not treating the Muslims on equal basis, and if we do the same to our minorities, will it not weaken the basis of seeking the partition.
