Sir: About one and a half decades ago Fatima Jinnah Park was constructed and was dedicated to be a family park. But of late, we have been observing unethical and highly immoral activities going on here. Last weekend I visited the F-9 Park with my family and I was feeling very uncomfortable due to some of the shameful activities of some young couples. We were forced to return in a very short time. What is even worse is that there was no one to forbid them. As far as the management of the park is concerned, it is not playing its role in maintaining an environment where parents feel safe bringing their children without fear of them being exposed to any inappropriate activity. This uncontrolled situation in F-9 Park is disturbing the healthy family park environment. It is my opinion that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) should maintain some checks and balances to stabilise the family environment of F-9 Park and restore it to its former glory by rescuing it from the grasp of morally corrupt practices.
