Sir: The current political fiasco is a nightmare for democracy in Pakistan. From revolutionaries to political pundits to prime ministers who are currently being proved as liars under oath, we are seeing a very troubled time in Pakistan. What will become of the fragile democracy we have carefully created over the last few years is anyone’s guess. It will be a shame to see the army back in the driving seat if that is what will happen because no country can prosper long under a dictatorship.
Woe and behold, what is in store no one knows but we can hope it is not the worst possible option.
