Sir: Although Imran Khan is trying to destabilise the government thorough civil disobedience, does he know how many people welcome his appeal? On the other hand, will he not be defamed in case he fails to achieve his mission? In the past (1971) Sheikh Mujibur Rehman too had applied the same tactic of disobedience against the then military ruler from West Pakistan, and he had succeeded because of the full support of the Bengali masses, police, army and even the judiciary. But here in Pakistan the population is composed of various ethnic groups and political parties represent different minds. Mr Khan’s call for disobedience will serve little purpose.
