Sir: Compared to the terrorists’ attacks, the response of the government has been too weak and feeble so far. The time has perhaps arrived for the political leadership to take stringent actions against the culprits and weaken their position through a military action. Just as the military and the government are required to play their role in combating terrorism, the judiciary is equally responsible to see to it that it does not allow the terrorists to escape the clutches of the law through bail, parole and other exploitable devices. Similarly, the media has to share the responsibility by not providing space to the terrorists to expand their dirty game. Once the oxygen of publicity is severed, there would be considerable reduction in the terrorists’ activities. Fatima mansor Via Email
