Sir: World Water Day was observed all over the world on March 22, 2014. In accordance with the UN’s World Water Assessment Programme, the global population will need 40 percent more water by 2030. The growing population, with the passage of time, will consume more and more water and food. There is a threat to water supplies in the future. Today, our demand is more and our supplies are limited. The need of the hour is to give importance to the water issue and save water for life. We have to realise future needs. It is time to save water without contamination and water pollution.
