Sir: With the help of your esteemed daily, I want to draw the attention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Minister for Health as well as other concerned authorities towards the lack of basic facilities at Hayatabad Medical Complex. It is very unfortunate that an MRI Machine at the said hospital has been out of order for the last several years. As we are aware of the fact that the poor cannot afford costly MRI expenses in private hospitals, the public sector hospitals are their only hope and these hospitals must be equipped with all basic health facilities. We remember false promises made by the PTI and its coalition partners that they will bring a revolution in the health sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. But there is no tangible change in the health sector. Your kind and urgent attention is required to repair/replace or install a new MRI machine at Hayatabad Medical Complex so that the poor people could heave a sigh of relief. KHUSHAL KHAN Peshawar
