Sir: The number of stray dogs has grown exponentially in Karachi. Not only do they roam freely on the streets with no hesitation, they have infested the University of Karachi as well. No one feels safe as stray wild dogs make their usual rounds in the arts lobby early morning. The students have dealt with some strange animals over the course of time but there seems to be no end to it. Since our university is still mainly inhabited, it is understandable to see some pets moving around the campus but the presence of wild dogs is beyond comprehension. I mean, what if they bite someone? Who will bear the responsibility? I therefore request the administrator of Karachi to take notice of this and rid our university and our city of these unwanted creatures. ZEHRA SAADIA SAIYED Karachi
