Sir: Malala’s stance on education for all addresses a deep-rooted problem within the country. Our rural areas are the most neglected as far as education is concerned and need drastic reforms. This indifference towards vulnerable communities is not limited to the education sector alone. The rural areas are also deprived of medical facilities. People there have to rely on quacks, matrons and makeshift hospitals. The government should immediately take notice of this issue and make the rural environment liveable. MOBEEN SHAH Via Email
