Sir: It is a verifiable fact that no one can lead a life without the availability of basic needs. The human being is a superior creation of God and has some necessary requirements. The poverty and inflation rates in Pakistan have been increasing due to mismanagement and unavailability of specific mechanisms. Most of the governments’ tenures consist of merely tenure completion, instead of serving the people in a better way. Labourers and people belonging to the lower classes have been waiting for a loaf of bread due to limited income resources. It is the first and foremost responsibility of the government to pay attention to the solution of basic needs and problems of the people. Besides this, the government should take concrete steps to support the floundering economy of the state. The economy of any country is its backbone without which the state becomes powerless to stand upon its own two feet. IMRAN KHAN Khushab
