Sir: The Pakistan flag is a green field with a white crescent moon and five-rayed star at its centre, and a vertical white stripe on the hoist side. The government should take action against all those who are printing different coloured flags and selling them in the market. The Pakistani flag’s colour is dark green but light green and even red and blue colours are also available in the market. On other hand, the terms Pakistan zindabad (long live), Jashan-e-azaadi mubarak (happy independence) and the pictures of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal are also printed on the Pakistani flag. Nothing should be written on the Pakistani flag. I suggest that the government allow only an authorised printing press to be given permission to print the Pakistani flag in its true and right measurement. After August 14, one can see the Pakistani flag lying on roads and streets with no one caring about it. We as a nation should respect our flag. GHAZANFAR ALI KHANKarachi
