Sir: The patron-in-chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the honourable prime minister of Pakistan and the honourable judges at Islamabad High Court are taking turns to inflict more damage to cricket in Pakistan. One restores Zaka Ashraf, the other fires Najam Sethi. One dismisses the interim cricket body, the other restores it. It is sheer nonsense. The judges at least are supposed to be saner voices then others. This tug of war between the two parties will eventually deliver irrecoverable losses to PCB. They need to show reverence for each other’s authority for the greater benefit of our scrambled cricket. As a last resort, I will urge the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of this chronic situation and settle the dispute once and for all. Abdul Wadood RajaRawalpindi
