Sir: The heat is on our jet-setting prime minister! The Senate has passed a resolution asking the prime minister to attend Senate sessions at least once a week while the Senate is in session. This has happened because it turns out Mr Nawaz Sharif has not attended the Senate even once since his election in May last year. This is beyond comprehension. How can the head of government be absent in decision making at the parliamentary level? Is it because he enjoys his foreign trips far too much to be bothered with the trivial matter of running the country? No wonder the people are miserable and the nation is traumatised with a worsening law and order situation. Our prime minister has not bothered to even feign concern over our problems.
