Sir: I live as a tenant in North Nazimabad and I have been facing difficulty in paying my electricity bill. The house is divided into two portions and my landlord lives in the other portion but we share the same electric meter. I live alone but the owner of this house has a family of five. Irrespective of the consumption of electricity, the bill is equally divided between the two parties, which is extremely unfair. I have been continuously writing applications to Karachi Electric (KE) to provide me with a separate meter but they have a policy of not installing two meters in the same house. They fail to understand the problem I am facing. I request KE to review this policy, as I am sure many other people would be facing a similar problem. WARISHA NAJAM Karachi
