Sir: It is so heartening to see Pakistani movies making a comeback to the silver screen. Titles such as Moor and Bin Roye are making waves amongst enthusiastic movie goers with cinemas expected to be fully booked this holiday season. How refreshing it is to see our new breed of filmmakers and actors defying all the odds and going at it alone, without any help from the government. If we can make such cinematic gems without funds and investment in heritage and culture, imagine what we could do with the right kind of support. I urge officials to wake up and smell the potential. For how long do they want us to reside in the dark ages of Lollywood?SARA HAFEEZLahore
