Sir: In spite of tall claims by the government over the load shedding issue, the country is still plunged into darkness. Why do the people of Pakistan fall prey to the lies of these corrupt politicians? In Karachi people don’t have water to bathe. The satellite view of Pakistan resembles a dark pit-hole with insignificantly low light depicting regions. What is the present government doing about the electricity problem? People are dying of heat with no electricity-based machinery to help them cool their bodies. Is the government blind to their pain and sufferings? It is worldwide understood that leaders are elected to uplift the plight of the people of their country not to plunge them into a deplorable state of misery. This government is evidently turning out to be a terrible mistake for Pakistan. SASHA MALIKAbbottabad
