Sir: One of the main problems Pakistan faces is corruption in the government. Those sitting on high government posts are misusing their power and making a mockery of their positions to earn money. This problem is increasing day by day and common citizens are left at the mercy of these leaders who continue to live luxurious lifestyles. The sad part is that it looks like it will be a long time before this issue is solved. Irrespective of whichever political party comes into power, this issue has always been there. The fact is that none of the politicians actually care for their people; they are only bothered about their own interests. The amount of money they spend on making their flags, banners and election campaigns could feed countless hungry families. Our youth needs to be taught some inherent moral values, especially honesty. This generation has already fallen victim to greed but we can save the next generation at least. Sara ShamimKarachi
