Sir: We strongly condemn the abduction of more than 200 adolescent girls in Nigeria. Who else can comprehend the pain felt by their fathers and brothers? We have had our little ladies killed in different terrorist attacks for over a decade now. President Obama has recently said that the US is a prime supporter of Nigeria. We appreciate the concern extended by Obama but here arises a question: what about those girls killed in drone attacks in Pakistan? What about those lives taken by you, Mr Obama, in the shape of drones? Were those girls any lesser than the Nigerian girls? We do not doubt the US’s incentives but we smell something fishy here. We can smell some oil in Nigeria. I hope President Obama and his sympathies are with the little girls and not the oil produced in Nigeria.NIDA JAFFERYKarachi
