Sir: What is the point of these so-called ‘peace talks’? We see the government fawning over these terrorists when, at the same time, they are doing nothing but killing our young soldiers. Just a couple of days ago, a roadside bomb killed nine of our boys in North Waziristan. This has happened at a time when the government is mulling over how to proceed with negotiations with the militants. There is no point now in continuing with this farce. It is becoming clearer and clearer that these people want nothing to do with peace; they are only buying time to step up attacks. Let us not facilitate them.
