Sir: Balochistan is the biggest province of Pakistan in terms of area, where thousands of students qualify for educational degrees from different institutions every year. In fact, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is the only authority that verifies educational degrees. After verification by the HEC, students become able to apply for any kind of scholarship or job. But the thing that troubles is that there is no HEC office in the entire province. Students take their degrees and go to Islamabad for verification, which takes around 40 or 50 hours to reach there. A large number of students suffer a lot in this regard. To put it in a nutshell, I request the government to take some serious steps to solve the problem. The HEC should establish its office in Makran or Quetta for making things easier for the students of Balochistan. SHAKEEL PHULLANTurbat
