Sir: Kashmir, which was termed as the jugular vein of Pakistan by the founder of the nation, is still a stumbling block for the normalisation of bilateral relations between India and Pakistan. It is a core issue and needs to be resolved at the earliest. The future of peace in South Asia is attached with resolution of this critical issue. It is high time that the governments of India and Pakistan should realise the importance of Kashmir and try to amicably resolve the issue. MUSA SHAH Lahore
