Sir: Imran Khan has suddenly shifted to politics of frustration. He mainly resorts to unsubstantiated blame games. According to him all have joined hands to deprive him of a parliamentary majority in the country. He expresses lack of trust in the existing constitutional electoral accountability system and wants to reform the electoral system through extra-constitutional means of his choice. He blames ex CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry and a media group for rigging the general elections in favour of the PML-N. However, he fails to come forward to substantiate such allegations when challenged. It appears Khan wants to force midterm elections by creating anarchy and destabilisation in the country. He might be misleading some youth of the country but he must realise that he is alienating himself from the mature and aware spectrum of society. He would be well advised to display some maturity and prove himself to be a democrat, which he claims to be. The supreme interest of the country demands that Khan should struggle for reforms of the present political system while staying within constitutional limits.
