Sir: Thousands of litres of drinking water go waste every day due to a pipeline leakage in the neighbouring apartment to mine. Huge amounts of water seep through the wall during supply times. This has led to water logging beside the parking area of our apartment that has become a breeding ground for frogs and mosquitoes for the past seven months. Despite complaining several times to the local water distribution authorities, this issue has not yet been resolved. I also lodged a complaint online; even my aged father went down to the regional water distribution office with a complaint number but nothing happened. The most worrying part is that due to such conditions, this accumulated water might become a source of the dengue virus. I request the concerned authorities to please look into this matter.
