Sir: The ceasefire was a good thought by the Taliban as an opportunity for more attacks. This time they have not accepted involvement in the Islamabad attack but what else proves that they should not be trusted? Their previous record points the finger of suspicion at them. They do not mean what they say so the ball is in the court of the government and security forces. Ultimately they have to decide what should be done. The more they wait the more innocent blood will be shed. This time the terrorists have proved to all of the world that even the capital of Pakistan is insecure. It reflects the truth that whether the government negotiates or not, there is a terror element that should be eradicated. NAUSHABA ABID Via Email
