Sir: People-to-people contact in a sophisticated society is vital to keep intact all the specific terms and traditions of that particular area. Every religion emphasises to its followers to increase interaction with others for the benefit of people. There are many benefits of this relationship but a few days back, a science study exposed some key benefits correlated to social connections. The opening point was linked to a survey which shows that big cities where people are more connected to each other have a lower rate of suicidal deaths. Furthermore, people with larger social ties were found happier, stronger, and enjoyed a longer life. Because of this, urbanised countries are focusing on this area of interest and promoting the community lifestyle by colonising their citizens in interconnected towns and villages and by making community parks where people can come to meet after their working hours. Pakistan is severely lacking is this field and hence the crime rate and other evils are increasing day by day, because we don’t have any system or mechanism to come in contact with each other. We should pay some attention to this issue to increase our relationships with others so that people love to live their lives. ABDUL WADOOD RAJA Via Email
