Sir: The Taliban have announced their team to negotiate with the government’s appointed committee. Not surprisingly the Taliban have nominated the right-wing politico-religious parties to strike a deal on their behalf. I just wonder if it is true that the Taliban’s leadership doesn’t exist anywhere and our right-wing leaders disguised as Taliban’s Ameer (leaders), its spokesmen and important position holders within the group are managing the entire affair. Would these right-wing party leaders be kind enough to clarify if they stand with the state of Pakistan or their loyalties are with the Taliban who don’t accept Pakistan’s constitution, democracy, justice system, media and human rights?
