Sir: In the wake of the upcoming senate elections, the phrase ‘horse-trading’ has again resurfaced. The good folks who coined this phrase did not realise that the horse is a very noble member of the equine family and cannot or should not be associated with such degrading activity. Our rulers can certainly groom these animals but in no way can compete with them. ‘Donkey-trading’ however is a more realistic term when it comes to identifying the parasites. DR IRFAN ZAFAR Islamabad
