Sir: Although social networking sites were created to promote “socialising”, yet people are becoming more and more unsociable day by day due to the use of these websites. From a lavish wedding party to a simple family gathering, this happens again and again. At a party, people spend their time taking selfies and spend lesser time in talking to each other. While at a small family gathering, half of the family members watch TV and others stay busy with their cell phones. We spend very little time in knowing about others and spend more time in looking at their pictures on Facebook and Instagram. We do long chats on Wattsapp, but do not have time to talk in person. Where are we going? What are we doing? And why we do not think about the consequences? HUDA IBTISAMA SHEIKH Via Email
