Sir: The New Year celebration craze was all aorund. Everyone was trying to celebrate as best as they could in the current dismal circumstances. In Pakistan we should be trying to search for peace by way of celebrating events. But that is not the case. Another year has passed and the beginning of the new year comes with the same old news of firings, injuries and people dying. Even welcoming the new year needs firing in the air! The question is that why have we forgotten that we are a civilised society and every civilised nation celebrates events in a safe and decent way. Unfortunately what we observe every year is the opposite of civil behaviour. People get injured as well as killed by aerial firing. What kind of way is this to celebrate any event?
