Sir: A few days back, I came to know about a Pakistani ICU patient admitted in one of the hospitals of Saudi Arabia, who was shifted to Islamabad. The patient was not in a vegetative state but needed intensive care for breathing, feeding and urination. This is not the first time our so-called Muslim brother countries have treated Pakistanis like a piece of trash. Last year in October 2013 a critically sick Pakistani patient named Ather Hussain Siddiqui was shifted from the United Arab Emirates to the Agha Khan Hospital Karachi. The patient was shifted to Pakistan because his family could not afford treatment in UAE. A number of such cases could be quoted on the cold and inhuman attitude of the Arab states towards Pakistanis particularly. Saif R KVia Email
