Sir: It is indeed a joyful sight to watch the safe landing of 502 Pakistanis from war-torn Yemen. It is being reported that a Pakistan Navy ship is on its way to Aden and the government is also seeking Chinese help in the evacuation of more Pakistanis. Besides, according to the spokesman of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, flight operations will be continued until all Pakistanis are evacuated from Yemen. The efforts of the Pakistan government and the Foreign Office in this regard are commendable. The Foreign Office has established a crisis management cell to coordinate the arrangements for evacuation and the prime minister is personally monitoring the evacuation and directed officials to ensure the safe return of every citizen. Our Civil Aviation Authority, Foreign Office and the incumbent government deserve appreciation for the successful completion of the first phase of evacuation. AISHA HUSSAINLahore
