Sir: Whilst the recent decrease in the prices of petrol products comes as a small sigh of relief for the poverty stricken masses, there is still much that needs to be done to alleviate the severe suffering all around. There is still extreme load shedding happening in the country, the heat is increasing at a fast pace and inflation has soared. It is hoped that this announcement will be accompanied with willing petrol stations ready to facilitate the public instead of turning them away whilst waiting for the prices to increase and to reap profits. There is too much misery for a majority of the people now; we need our government to help us in every way possible.AAMIR HUZAIFALahore
