Anti-dengue teams to be trained on modern lines

ISLAMABAD: A plan has been prepared to impart training to anti-dengue teams on modern lines. In this regard, the District Health Office has given final shape to the plan. Dengue Control Cell head Najeeb informed that special training would be given to the Health Department staff, lady health supervisors, and sanitary inspectors on how to recognise dengue mosquito and its elimination. In this regard, health sessions for the training of lady health supervisors would be held from today (Thursday) till May 31 at the CDA Dispensary, G9 Markaz. In the second step, sanitary inspectors would be trained from June 2 to 4. Workers would be apprised of dengue surveillance and outdoor vector surveillance.
