35 fair price shops to be set up

ISLAMBABAD: The Food Department has issued notification for setting up 35 fair price shops in the rural and urban areas of the city to provide essential commodities at subsidised rates to the people. These fair price shops would become functional from the start of Ramazan. The commodities would be available at these shops at the rate less than 10 to 15 percent from the market rate and in most of the cases, at ex-mill rates. Fair price shops set up in urban areas include Muhammad Javed Cooperative General Store, Sector G6/14, Muhammad Ziafat Liaqat Fair Price Shop Cooperative Market, Sector G6/13, Muhammad Arshid Goodluck Store Allahwali Market, Sector F8/1, Sardar Kashif General Store Multani Market, Sector G9/2, Muhammad Jamil Frontier General Store, Sector I10/2, Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Goodluck General Store, Sector G10 Markaz and others.
