18 housing societies issued notices for violating rules

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has issued notices to 18 housing schemes in Rawalpindi and Murree for violating the rules and operating without obtaining NOC from the Environment Department. The sources said that no NOC has been obtained from the Environment Department by the owners of the societies, including Hamza Town, T and T Housing Society, Al-Mustafa Estate, Hassan Homes, Seerat Homes, Ghulam Abu Tarab, Safari Multi Units kot Jabbi, Estate Housing Scheme Kotha Kalan, Lawyers Housing Scheme, Airport Employees Housing Scheme, Palm City, National Garden, Gulshan Kashmir Housing Scheme and Jammu and Kashmir Housing Scheme, Kalri road in Rawalpindi and Munir Zia housing scheme, Mughal garden Ghora Gali, and Murree Hills Cooperative Housing Scheme in Murree. According to reports, the Environment Department visited these societies and worked out a detailed site inspection report and sent it to the authority concerned.
