Summer camps made compulsory for all govt schools

RAWALPINDI: Summer camps have been made compulsory for all primary, middle, high, and higher secondary schools of Rawalpindi District. Under the directives of the provincial secretary, orders have been issued to all the government schools in all the seven tehsils - Murree, Kotli Sattian, Kallar Syedan, Kahota, Taxila, Gujjar Khan, and Rawalpindi - for setting up summer camps for the students of class 5th, 7th, 9th, and 10th from the month of June to August. The presence of the teachers in the schools during the summer vacations has also been made compulsory. online
Summer vacations from June 1
RAWALPINDI: Summer vacations in the educational institutes of the city would start from June 1. According to the Educational Department of Punjab, the vacations of summer would start from June 1 and end on August 14. All the colleges and universities of Punjab would reopen on August 15.
