AIOU declares result of BA

ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final results of its Bachelor programs (BA) for the Semester Autumn, 2013 and also placed it at website www.aiou.  Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ali Asghar Chishti pushed the computer-button, declaring the results Prof Dr Abdul Hafeez, senior officer Majid Rashid, Controller Exams, Dr Hamid Khan Niazi, Incharge, Computer Section, Shabnum N Shahid, were also present on the occasion. As per the announcement by the Controller Exams, the result cards of all the students are being sent at their given addresses. Meanwhile, the students can also down-load their results cards from the web-sites, says a press release. The course-enrolments of BA were 673,187, while the number of students were 2,24,226. The total number of center where the students appeared for the exam were 577 all over the country. The controller exam said that 90 percent results of the current semester have been announced. While rest of results including those of post graduates will be declared before the end of new admissions which will be closed on September, 5. The vice chancellor congratulated the staff of Examination Brach and Computer section for timely declaring the results, that he said will facilitate the students to take admission in their next semester. He said that the entire process of examination and admissions have been further improved, through a process of consultation and good team-work. In their brief remarks,  Dr. Hafeez and Majid Rashid appreciated the dedicated work of the relevant departments and said it helped to further improve the trust of the students in the University's s overall system and it good image.
