Rootsians discovering ‘Cool Japan’

ISLAMABAD: A group of students from Roots Millennium Khyber Campus, Peshawar, and Millennium Campus I-9/3, Islamabad, have flown to Japan to participate in the iconic Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) programme.
The programme is planned to promote potential interests towards Japan within the young generation, to increase visitors to Japan as well as to facilitate global understanding on Japanese values and Japan’s strengths and attractions, including “Cool Japan”, towards the revitalisation of the Japanese economy. The students taking part in the project are Roshana Bangash, Hira Feroze, Maham Javed and Syed Maham Asif. They will get to experience first-hand the world famous Japanese hospitality and will be busy fitting in numerous visits to tourist locations, meeting up with fellow students from different countries, participating in the exchange programme projects, and developing a close understanding of Japanese Culture and Value System.
